Andy Hunter

Hunter, Keith Industries Inc.

Andy Hunter is the founder and chairman of Hunter, Keith Industries Inc., a private industrial holding company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with diversified interests in transportation and manufacturing.

Prior to the formation of that firm, Mr. Hunter spent 15 years in the investment banking industry, first with Dain, Kalman & Quail (now RBC Capital Markets) and then as managing director of Hunter, Keith, Marshall & Co., which specialized in investment-grade project finance.

Mr. Hunter has served on the boards of directors of Warning Lites, Diamond Brands Incorporated, Crest Healthcare, Tru-Stone Technologies, Trimodal Inc., Upper River Services Inc., Northern Wire Products Inc., First American Mutual Funds, and on the advisory board of Goldner Hawn Johnson & Morrison Inc., a private equity firm. In addition, he has served as a director of many community organizations including the Guthrie Theatre, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Minnesota Childcare, and the Minneapolis Children's Medical Center.

Mr. Hunter graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in history in 1969 and received his MBA in 1972 from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was awarded an academic fellowship during his second year.

In his free time, Mr. Hunter is an avid lifelong golfer. He was the founder and first president of Spring Hill Golf Club, a Tom Fazio designed, limited membership golf club located in Orono, Minnesota. He and his wife Carole live in Hobe Sound, Florida.
